SALSA

Salsa is a fun, energetic and exciting partner dance. It’s a very sociable dance, so you don’t need to have a partner to learn, you will make friends quickly and easily. Linear or Crossbody salsa is the most popular style that we teach regularly at the Academy, then there is Cuban, and Columbian salsa. With various classes, workshops and guest teachers throughout the year, you can dive into these different types, and learn the history and culture, keeping your curiosity and interest peaked all year round.

BACHATA

Bachata is an exciting and fun dance style, which originated in the Dominican Republic, and spread throughout the world, becoming as popular as salsa. Its easy to learn and pick up by beginners, contributing to its popularity. You can learn different the styles of the dance, including Dominican, Moderna and Sensual, making it highly enjoyable by a wide audience of dancers.

KIZOMBA

Kizomba, which is a beautiful dance that originated in Angola, with both the dance and music having their origins in Semba and Angolan Merengue. The word “Kizomba” is derived from the Angolan word for ‘party’ or ‘celebration’, and the dance is known for its smooth, earthy dynamic. There are only a handful of steps that are simple to learn, and the steps are danced on every beat with a continuous movement or flow.
